Early adopters, like [[Innovator]]s, like to buy into new product concepts but unlike innovators they are not technologists. They are the people who find it easy to imagine and understand the benefits of new technology. They are willing to base their buying decissions upon it. They do not rely on their own references in these buying decisions but rely on their intuition and vision. Therefore they are key to opening up any high tech market.
