The Early Majority share some of the [[Early Adopter]]'s ability to relate to technology but are driven by a strong sense of practicality. They know a lot of innovations end up as passing 'hype' and are content to wait to see how other people use it before they try themselves. There are many people in this segment (rougly on third) winning their business is key to substantial profits and growth.
